Unions, I believe, make this nation-and our state-stronger because they protect the rights of good hard-working people. Unfortunately that is not always a popular viewpoint. Which is why, during my tenure at McTeague Higbee, I worked so tirelessly to protect the rights of our union brothers and sisters. And to be there to make certain injured workers-whether they were hurt at a factory, in an office, at shipyards, or on the docks-were treated fairly. This is a legacy of service that lives on at McTeague Higbee.
