G. WILLIAM HIGBEE , born June 7, 1945, a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa is a graduate of DePauw University and Washington University School of Law. In addition to the state and federal courts in Maine, he is admitted to practice in the First Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Bill is a member of the Sagadahoc County Bar, Maine State Bar Association, Maine Trial Lawyers Association, the Plaintiffs' Asbestos Litigation Group, and the American Association for Justice. Bill focuses on personal injury law with a concentration in construction accidents, asbestos litigation and other occupational diseases. He was a member and past chairman of the Maine School Administrative District #75 Board of Directors and was a member of the Governor's Task Force on School Facilities, authoring its 1998 report.
