A graduate of Brown University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Jeff is an attorney who defends the rights of workers. Admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court and the state and federal courts in Maine, the District of Columbia, and Maryland as well as the First, Second, Fourth and Ninth Circuit U.S. Courts of Appeal, his dedication to fighting for fairness for his clients is unwavering. Prior to joining McTeague Higbee, he worked as a lawyer in Washington, DC and before that as a union organizer for the Service Employees International Union. He is also an avid and long-suffering Cleveland Indians fan. Jeff lives in Cumberland with his wife and three children.
CLIENT TESTIMONIALS:
"I have spent much of my life working with lawyers and law firms. I have never found a firm with higher integrity and I am very pleased with the way my interests were represented in a complex case involving a huge corporation. Jeff Young guided our case to a fair and reasonable conclusion. I have nothing but the highest praise for this firm, its professionalism, integrity and fairness. This firm and Jeff Young are a model for others to emulate."
"I can't thank you enough for being so wonderful to work with. Thank you for your integrity and generosity. I want you to know that of course the money is a help to us (2nd baby due in May) and your belief in me has been pretty fulfilling. It's part of my identity now that I stood up for myself. I come out of this most happy knowing I did act, because I could. Tell your wife, son and daughters, that one of your clients wants a big celebration over how wonderful you are. Really, you are special."
"I'd also like to take a moment to thank you for all of the ingenuity and persistence you folks mustered up to win this case for us. My gut tells me (and it's never wrong) if we had picked any other lawyer team things would not have turned out as rosy as they did. It has been a pleasure to have met you"
"I wanted to thank you so very much for representing me these past 5 years. Most of all I want to tell you how relieved and happy I felt with the unexpected news that my case was settling... Please know how much I have valued your efforts, advice, knowledge, your consideration of my ideas and questions, and your commitment."
"...it was a very emotional experience for me. Anyway, I just wanted to say 'Thank You'! You both guided me through new territory, gave me a voice, and were supportive on the emotional side. You are both wonderful. I would highly recommend you both, to anyone in my situation"
